Look through hair magazines with thousands of hairstyles in them and see what you like. I personally like scene/emo cuts...which are choppy layers with long bangs swept over your face. (for girls) Just go with what you like. Also there are some sites where you can test different hair cuts on yourself to see how they look. Clairol.com is one.

long hair with loose curls with bangs to the side. but remember it depends on ur face type. good luck
