I have learned from years of dieting and obsessing over my weight to just let it go. Don't focus on weight loss, but focus on a change of lifestyle. Incorporate healthy eating and exercise into your life. I also found that exercise is a lot more fun when you do things you like. For example, I LOVE to swim, so that is what I do. I also love to play baseball and tennis. It makes the time go faster and I'm still leading a active lifestyle. However, I don't obsess over how much time I played or how many calories I ate, etc. I just try to make healthy choices and enjoy a nice piece of chocolate cake once in a while.

It was about your age I started obsessing over food/weight. There was a time I ate 400 calories a day and counted each and everyone of them. I dropped 40 lbs in three months. But later gained it all back, plus some. I hurt myself doing this. Please don't obsess over weight. I lost a lot of years myself doing so.
