I've checked the speakers and cleaned it with that Memorex cleaning cd, but it didn't work. Please, somebody help me! Thanks!

Double-check the audio cables. Perhaps they are not plugged in
securely or at all. Also, make sure you have your receiver tuned
to the right output. Check too to make sure the receiver's speak-
er selector is in the ON position. And finally, check all of the
speaker wire connections to make sure they are all connected
properly and securely.

Refer to your owner's manual in the troubleshooting section for
further assistance.

Speakers..., do you use an AV Receiver?
More details on your setup would help a lot.

If connected to a TV, make sure you did not set the player for digital out. Make sure you connected the audio inputs that correspond to your video input.
Make sure the TV is not in mute.

If connected to an AVR make sure you select the proper input.
Make sure it supports Dolby Digital, if not select PCM output.
You can't connect the DVD player directly to speakers.

If it is a DVD that you made the perhaps you did what my friend did... He made a data DVD and simply put a wmv or AVI file onto it. And he got no sound.... You need to make a DVD using the proper software that will create a mpg2 file and a separate audio file.

If you bought the DVD then your problem is with the hookup. Can you hear the sound via the earphone jack if it has one?
