this would be in california, about 1990 if the laws have changed.
this would be a child with a hunters' license. is there any restrictions?

I grew up in California. I was able to get a hunting license at the age of twelve. That was a long time ago though.
I suggest you check with the Dept. of Fish and Game.

I don't think you need a hunting license until your 16, I went hunting before I turned 16.
In this day and age I would check with The Dept. of Conservation

umm idk in california but to weild (as in shoot) a gun in VA all you have to do is have an adult that owns a gun
btw to but a rifle or shotgun all u have to be is 18 but for a handgun its 21

i think it is sixteen, but i know you have to be 21 to buy a gun.
