What do you do when you are Depress & Down , How do you make yourself feel better.?

Well i really have to talk to myself,get up and get busy,call a good friend and talk....you can go shopping with a friend,go out and eat,go to a movie....sometimes just a good ole feel sorry for myself cry.crying really helps....Always think this (everything will be better tommorro)Its not fun to be down,but when you get so far down you will have to come up....unless you get up and change the mood it will get you down,so you have to put everything you have into doing something.....have you tired dressing up ,doing your nail,and pedicure,applying make up.....Watching a good movie,popping some corn.....Make cookies.....go to a flea market.........just get out and walk around in the cool air and talk to anyone you see.....

When I am depressed I will re-arrange furniture to give a room a different look and feel, or just sit around watching tv. I often withdraw from people and things I usually do. To make myself feel better I may go shopping or read a really good book to snap myself out of it.

sleep, talking about what is bringing you down. Try getting out for a walk or do some shopping for yourself, treat yourself. Re-arrange furniture. Watch a funny movie.

Because I practise vipassana twice a day, I do not get down and depressed. If I didn't do this then I would probably drink a lot of beer and watch tv and sleep a lot.
