Hi, I accepted a job offer with a major company in the UK for a specialised position. They are currently working on obtaining a work visa for me but have concerns that my education has only left me with a certificate rather than a degree. How much will this affect my chances to be accepted for the visa? What does immigration look for when approving a visa and is it generally difficult to get one?
Thanks for any information.

Getting a wrok permit in the UK is no easy task. The fact that you do not have a degree will undermine your chances. The only positive aspect is that you are canadian. This will help boost your chances, overall I think you should get it because of your nationality.
