Hey! Well i'm a girl, so what would really make me go out with a guy in your situation would be if he truely was kind, and cared about me, and showed me that he did. one thing i know most girls hate is when a guy says he loves you but doesn't execute it. I think if you drop the subject of dating for awhile and show her how much you care, then after time passes ask her again, and maybe she would have changed her mind.

make sure you give her space, and that she feels the same way for you too. Becuase if she doesnt she jsut may wind up with that other guy and is only telling you that not to hurt you. (which is pretty dumb becuase she will hurt you in the end) Let her know you will be a friend to her no matter what decision she makes.

Look.. I don't want to say this but she doesn't love you. That sounds like an excuse not to go out with you just so she won't hurt a different guy that likes her. If she liked you then she wouldn't care about that other guy!

If you truly love her than you should not be afraid to wait. Just remind her that you do love her and she will realize that she really wants to be with you.

wait to see if they break up. if it is really love you will be able to wait. if it is meant to be it will happen. love isn't a maybe thing and since you know you love her then it won't hurt you so bad.
