I heard they make 400,000 a year so thats like 1,000 day!!!

I have no idea how much Backwater guys make but can tell you that KBR/Halliburton security types make around 80K per year. Little more or less depending. That's just security officers as you can imagine supervisors make a bit more etc. The two are not comparable though as KBR security officers are unarmed and do not operate "outside the wire"(off base) like Black water does. Black water makes more I am certain because they are "private soldiers" armed and at times engage in combat ops. Look up Scott Helvenston on the web, if I remember right he was a Black water employee. Former US Navy SEAL who died in Fallujah in 2004.

Unfortunately the branch of Halliburton that did all the provisions in Iraq made mistakes on their bidding. KBR was the only company that could provide what was needed in Iraq, but they bid 2% above costs and ended up losing money. Hard to believe.

I remember Michael Moore had stock in Halliburton, but I'm glad I never invested in them.

I think they're selling off that subsidiary now.
