Shriners 22 hospitals offer free help to handicapped and burn victims children until the age of 18. Toll-free number USA 800 - 237- 5055 toll-free number Canada 800 - 361-7256 Transportation, meals and lodging for both the child and one parent are also absolutely free. There are no catches no gimmicks.

The Shriners hospitals provide free orthopedic surgery and plastic surgery. We also provide orthopedic shoes, braces, wheelchairs, crutches and other things that make it easier for a handicapped child to function as normally as possible with their handicap. We do not provide services that an internal medicine doctor provides.

My daughter has scoliosis, club foot, low muscle tone and several other things. Her doctor has mentioned sending her Shriners Hospital. He is most concerned about her scoliosis and said they could help with that. I do have several questions so the numer will be very helpful. Thank You. Is that for all children with disabilites? Autism, mental retardation and etc?
