And what if you are wrong about following a man named Mohammad? I believe in God and his son Jesus.

And what if you are wrong about Osiris? Him and Ra don't treat the Non-believers too well.
Maybe you should go for Odin and Thor. Maybe the Aztecs had it right with their serpent god. Have you done the sacrifices today? Maybe it is Zeus, or Hera, or any one of the several thousand others.
So I ask you, what if you're wrong? You are going to be awfully busy trying to satisfy them all.

and back to my original answer: if you are wrong than you either just die and thats the end of it, or you fall victim to the after death sentence of another religion. There are no other choices. Die and thats the end or live the afterlife of another religion. What more is there to discuss or question?

And so I go back to my original answer: What would it matter to you? *I* know that I've made the right choice in my heart and in my mind by accepting the love and mercy of the one true God, and salvation thru His Son, Jesus.

So what? I could be right. Its a 50/50 situation, I would rather take the positive end, with a God who loves me more than anything I know, and who provides for me in the most amazing ways. So I will wager on being right, and take the blessings...and even the curisings, of being a follower of Christ.

Wrong about what?
And if I am wrong - isn't the most important question - "Did I do my best and was I true to myself?"

Wrong about what? I'd rather be wrong about Jesus being a redeemer and have a good life than be wrong about him and then die.

Why worry about that? Believe what you feel is right. I think it's crazy to believe something simply because you are afraid that something bad will happen if you are wrong.

The way I look at it, if God wanted me to believe he would not be obtuse. If I wanted one of my children to know something that was life or death I would make darn sure they KNEW. I wouldnt "test" them to see if they loved me. I wouldnt allow someone else to tell them otherwise and see if they believed the lie the other person told them. This is one of the reasons I am an atheist. How can a God who is supposed to be all loving love his children less than I love mine?
