How he introduces himself and if he initiates/maintains eye contact. His confidence Overpowering or too confident is a turn off. Feeling his undivided attention, he's not taking cell phone calls, etc. A 'line' is so phony. I watch his lips, check out his /teeth. Hands too. Points if he uses my name when carrying on a conversation --- not sweetie or honey or baby or sugar. Arrogance is a turn off. Confidence is a plus. There is a difference. Overpowering cologne is a turn off. If we are in a restaurant/bar, etc, how he treats the waiting staff. Is he smiling? Does he seem happy? Is he too pushy? Friendly? Show boat type? Is he a name dropper?

The first thing for me is the handshake! If you meet a guy that shakes your hand and his hand feels "wimpy" or it feels like your shaking hands with a female... he doesn't have a chance. A good firm grip says a lot about a person and their level of confidence. That's the next thing on the checklist! If there is no sign of confidence, it's a total turn off. This goes for any situation, whether it be a casual, business or "dating" introduction. If you want to impress, just be yourself and be confident in who you are.
Also remember that the eyes are the window to your soul. If some one is unable to look you in the eye then it's usually a clear indcation that you've just met a jerk.

He looks me in the EYES. He isn't wandering his eyes all over the room or staring at other parts of my body. He is relaxed, confident but not cocky, and not fidgeting... he is truly listening to what I have to say. Quick judgements? Hmmm... wandering eyes tells me that he is waiting for something better to come along. Fidgeting means he is restless and waiting for me to "reject" him so he can move on... To NOT be my type, he would stand in my personal space and try to touch me intimately... A firm handshake or a light touch on the shoulder is one thing... but holding my hand and standing so close I can feel him breath on me... UGH... NOT my type. I don't care how cute he is!

I won't judge him but when a guy introduces himself to me it would suprise me because I haven't had much luck in that department. I mean i was suprised when I met my husband but I don't think much of him other then seeing his apperance and thinking that he's cute or why is he talking to me? I don't think any sexual thoughts or anything. The only way a guy won't be my type is if he was to come out and say he wants to have sex with me right away or tries to hit up on me. I might sound lame and boring but that's just me.

Clean, neat, smelling nice and sober! If he is drunk or bawdy he loses!!
The deal breaker is treating you like a piece of meat!
The deal maker is all attention focused on ME!! lingering stares, paying for everything, putting his arm around my waist, taking me by the hand works wonders too!

His eyes and voice hold my attention.I pay attention to what he's talking about and the way he talks. He would have to say something that I didn't like or come off too strong.

I look for good eye contact, hygiene, and the lack of a chip on his shoulder. An honest smile and good conversation are important too.

I notice the way he talks and his eyes. I can most of the time tell he's intelligent or decent. Intelligence greatly appeals to me. And of course, looks are a factor: face, build, height!!

I don't judge people by their looks, I try to find out what their personality is like and go from there. To not be my type, he would have to be conceded or macho.

Actually I'm kinda weird. The first thing I notice is the guys' hair. I love long hair on boys. I think its groovy. I mean realll long.like butt length.
So I spot hair first...then eyes, ,.............basically face and head.
