The promise was made to Abram (Abraham) that the savior would come through his linage because of his belief in the FATHER. We are in essence given the ability to become a CHILD of GOD by following the New TEstament commands and Life Eternal if we continue to be faithful. The Old Law was flawed and there was a need for a NEW LAW. That Law was the New Testament through the SON of GOD. Every prayer is to go through the SON since HIS assention. You and I are not to judge the FATHER there will come a time for judgment and we will be the ones that are judged! I hope that this makes sense in the manner that I wrote it. Have a great week.

He does not need a son to save us from our sins. He just needs us to say sorry and then live according to His Laws. That thing about the Son is just a deception to make people guilty of sins we never inherit. The thing they said about The Holy Spirit as another entity is not true in the sense that the Word of God put into the mouth of His Prophets and Chosen Ones as the Creation begans with His Words is the Spirit of God that manifests and will always remains unchanged. Talking to Almighty God is better than talking to dead person such as Jesus and other saints. Use them as your inspirations to do good things you hear about them but only to God your knee shall bend and your head shall bow.

God hates sin because everything about it is the opposite of him. If Jesus had not died and came back to life for our sins nobody could ever go to heaven to live with God. Everyone would be worth of hell. After Jesus did what he did nobody has to go to hell at all and everyone can be saved and go live with God immediately after death.
His son Jesus is God too and he has always existed. Being that Jesus is God, he is perfect and holy and so since he lived as a perfect human he became the only ransom for our souls.

This is probably not going to answer your question, but this is how "I" relate it so that my little pea-brain mind can understand: God being WHO HE IS - and how He created the world, man, and every living creature, established things so that there is a natural and spiritual 'law' of order. Once He established that, He could not forfeit or 'change' it. The natural law of man which was established was that man and woman were made to procreate, live on the earth, establish it and command it - at will. When man sinned in the garden, he gave up his rightful ownership to 'satan' who tricked him. The plan of action and of redeemption should something like this happen was already in place - GOD KNOWS ALL AND SEES ALL AND MADE PREPARATION FOR ALL. So - in order to 'reconnect that relationship with 'man' - a 'man' had to do it. The only 'man' who could do it had to be sent because if you read the Word - as much as every other man attempted to live righteous - he still sinned (David - a man after God's own heart, Noah, and many, many more) A "man" had to prove himself in a relationship with God and would do JUST WHAT HE SAID....and Jesus was the one sent. God had to provide us the 'man' because there was none other who could withstand the test. A man who would not sin against God - who would do what God said - show love and mercy and compassion and teach, heal, protect, do good - that's what we are supposed to be doing...and Jesus did that. Without PREJUDICE. Now, we are supposed to be following the example of 'the perfect man -Jesus". It can be difficult to understand but I truly believe in my heart and I have accepted without question. Jesus was sent as our gateway to God - and now that He died and rose again - we have that gateway opened up completely - but only to those who accept- who believe in their heart and confess with their mouth - the Lord Jesus Christ - and the 'talking' is clear and open. God hears believers. And He already knows what we have done - all he wants us to do is CONFESS THE KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST -and believe that....

Because God said, "Without the shedding of blood there can be no forgiveness of sin" And there was no blood that would be clean enough to cleanse humanity of sin except for the blood of Jesus who is God in the flesh.

Amen, I agree with you! I used to be a devout Christ-follower...up until now! Anyways, having a mediator, talking thru someone, etc...sounds like those confessions they have in a catholic church...why does the priest need to know, if you can tell God! I think we are worthy enough to go directly to God instead of going through someone to get to Him!

He would not. God is all powerful and gave us the means to save ourselves in the Torah. To accept Jesus or Muhammad is like saying God made a mistake and is trying to correct it. No one needs Jesus or Muhammad or Joseph Smith or David Koresh...
All you need is GOD and the Torah.

So we wouldn't have to keep killing all those cute little lambs as a blood sacrifice like they had to do back in the days before Christ!
I'm sure there are others that can explain it much better than I can, but what I know is God is Holy, the Almighty, there is none greater than He, not one, thus in order to worship Him one first had to offer a blood sacrifice.
Worshipping God means you are going to talk to Him, whether its to praise Him, or just have a chat, or to tell Him what you've done wrong even though He already knows. When my daughter does something wrong, I still try to get her to admit it (to own it), even though I already know what she did.
God sent His son to die on the cross for us as the ultimate sacrifice, so we would no longer have to do those blood sacrifices, probably because He knew how in modern times it would be awfuly hard to find a perfect goat without a blemish running around in the city.
Anyway, I know in my city it would be awfully hard to find one and besides, my landlord along with the city ordinances will not allow me to house one where I live. Also, is it, PETRA (?) they would most likely come after me for being cruel to animals if I was out in my backyard trying to butcher one.
We are born into sin, meaning the very moment we are born we are sinners, our parents were sinners before us, their parents before them, etc, going all the way back to when Adam and Eve ate the apple. This is why there had to be a sacrifice before talking to God and because He is so very Holy and Almighty.
Hey, I know that will certainly rile up a bunch of people and there will be all kinds of fun trying to rip into that definite fact that is truth rather than a theory, so go ahead and go for it since you all have fun ripping into everything else! Trust me, the day will come when you will also know it to be truth.
Therefore, with Jesus being our blood sacrifice we can now talk to God without having to go through all those animal sacrifices they had to do before Christ.
Also, I think God knew us women would become a whole lot more dainty as centuries went by than the women back in the olden days. Thus, as a modern woman who does enjoy worshipping God, I prefer doing it without first having to go through a bloody mess and killing some cute little animal or even an ugly one, yuck!! Plus, it is awfully hard to get blood out of clothes and Spray N' Wash is really expensive.
With Jesus, I can worship God anytime I want, in my car, walking down a road, etc.
So thank you, God for loving Debi so much that You sent Your only Son to die on the cross for me! And since I believe this, I will have eternal life after my body dies, in a place where tissues will never be needed!

God doesn't need a son or anyone to save us...we needed God to give the life of his only begotten son to take our sins as we are imperfect. What a gift! Thank God! And please talk/pray/praise God as much as possible about what you've done, but more importantly tell Him how much you appreciate what He has done for you!

briefly my friend god will see our deeds in this life and compare the bad things and the good things we done ,if we did more good things than the bad things then god will save you from your sins and also because god is the most merciful he may save you from your sins even if your good deeds less than your bad deeds if you your heart is pure. this is my belief as a muslim
