I know this is only fictional, but I'm still curious. All three judges scored the fight 95-94, two for Dixon and one for Rocky. I think Rocky was knocked down three times and Dixon once. Why weren't the total scores lower? Were the judges scoring a bunch of even rounds because it was an exhibition?

The judges must have scored some rounds 10-10 given that both fighters kept landing combinations on each other through every round. There are other times when a boxer can dominate a round but get knocked down once on a lucky punch by his opponent so he gets 9 points instead of 8 for winning the round even though he got knocked down.
