He didn't all of that was made up after he was dead to justify him as the messiah. According to the prophecies the messiah was to be a great leader who would take the Jewish people out from under the thumb of oppression. The followers of Jesus truly believed he was the man that would do this. Instead he was crucified as a criminal which was at odds with the scripture. So instead of facing fact and understanding that Jesus was not the messiah the tellers of the gospel deified him, fabricating a story about his Resurrection and Ascension into heaven. They made it out to seem as if though he died, he would indeed return in a short time to usher in the kingdom of heaven and free the Jews. This painted a messianic picture more powerful than what was originally prophesied and is probably why it caught on so well. The truth is that it is all myth, created by the people who had a vested interest in seeing the messianic claims of Jesus come to fruition.

He is not god.
There are some 20 to 30 prophecies in the Old Testament to do with the Messiah. He had alot of information to work with, plus when he was Baptistized he could remember his heavenly pre-existence, meaning that it opened up a LOT of knowledge for him to recover and think about. After all, he had to exist BEFORE coming to earth, so he had that knowledge to fall back on. But, for all that, physically he was no more than a perfect, yet human male.

Because he had a relationship with his Father in heaven. He prayed to his Father. When Jesus was Baptized the Holy Spirit ascended upon him, which is God's active force.

Because that was the plan.
Mark 8:31 "He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again."

I think the bigger question is: How does Jesus consider Friday evening to Sunday morning to be three days and three nights?("Just as Jonah was in the belly of a fish three days and three nights, so shall the Son of Man be inside the belly of the earth three days and three nights")

God never die - so is Jesus who is God., during the 3 days and 3 nights He was physically death, He was preaching to the long ago death since Noah's time in the Spirit.(1 Peter 3:19.).
We who are believers - even though our body dies, our souls go to heaven - Just as Christ who himself died physically for us, but His Spirit never died.
The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 3 ;18 - Christ suffered for our sins, once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.
