There is this girl at work that I like. We talk only at work. She is very attractive. She gave me her number, but for some reason I am afraid to ask her out. I am never afraid to ask any one out but this time I am. What is the deal with that. So should I ask her out and how should I go about that?

goodness yes! you will miss your chance if you dont. You dont want to lose her. If you dont ask her out someone else will and she will assume you are not interested. It seems she is interested enough in you if she gave you a real number. =] Just go for it.

Go ahead and ask her. Ask her for something casual, such as a movie and a snack after. Then after the movie you will have something to talk about, which will lead to other sharing. If she gave you her number, she is interested. You may be afraid because if it doesn't work out, you wonder what will happen when you see her again at work. However, If you met the guys for a beer after work, and didn't like one or more of them, you wouldn't think a thing of not seeing them again. Why should this be different? Keep this in mind, and you will be casual enough in your approach, so neither of you will feel anything but a mutual - and possibly temporary - sharing of an evening. If it leads to more, Great! If not, you still had a nice evening!

That's probably because you like her more than you have ever liked another girl. Just politely ask her.."So what are you doing this weekend?"
and if she's not busy then ask her to go to the movies with you or something. Make sure in your question you use the word "date" thought so she doesn't confuse you as just a potential friend if you try to kiss her.

When a g-g-girl give you her number, SHE'S INTERESTED!!!
But if you're not comfortable with this particular girl, listen to your feelings. You don't just have to date every pretty girl that comes along. So, figure out WHY your are afraid, and if you need to, grow some nards--and if you are more comfortable passing on this one, do it and don't look back.

Ask her if she would like to go out for coffee or to dinner and a movie. She'll probably ask if its a "date". Just say that that is up to her. If she doesn't ask, you'll find out while ya'll are out by how she acts and dresses and flirts. Your a man. If a woman is interested, she will give you a sign.

Dude, ever heard of not taking a sht where you eat? To not drink from the company's waters. This girl will be your fall down. If you like your work, I highly advice to avoid this chick. If you hate your job, then call her and plow her hard. But seriously man, if things do not turn to right way, then you have to see her ugly face EVERY day. She can also sue YOU and the company where you work for SEXUAL HARASSMENT!!!! You created a "hostile" working environment that prevented her to complete her duties. Don't you have any game man???? Can't get a girl outside work???

the fact that you are nervous to ask her but not really anyone else probably means that you are really into her and worried that she would turn you down. you have all the right to be nervous. i think you should go for it the worst that can happen is that she says no.

Don't do it bro. I hooked up with the receptionist at my office and it was fun at first but when it didnt work out it was hell working with her. Moral of the story, dont date people you work with.
