For starters our children would actually be learning something in school because the teachers would not be spending over half of their day working one-on-one with illegals kids who don't care to understand English and who are wasting tax payer money. Hardworking Americans would have their decent jobs back with benefits..so therefore less would need welfare and govt help. More adults could go to college and get an education because there would actually be financial aid that would not go to illegals..I for one would not be having to take out a loan to pay for until my grandchildren are in college. It would be safe to drive again and God forbid that I can step outside my front door without a loaded gun.

When you say "stop giving visas," that means you don't want anymore immigrants at all. In that case, America would be just like any other European country, unicultural and expensive. Wouldn't be a world power.

Now if you mean without illegals only, it would still be multicultural but expensive. All the anti illegal freaks would be focused attacking the government on something else such as the war in Iraq (or even LEGAL immigration).

It would be like the U. S. A. that I grew up in. Just every day hard working Americans, with respect for our laws, our country, and our flag. An America where we do not live 20 or 30 to a 1 or 2 bedroom house. An America where we do not take a day to march in the street. An America where we have more than 2 or 3 kids in a class of 20 who are Americans. In a nut shell, the America we used to know.

IT WOULD BE A LOT BETTER. ALL THE JOBS WERE DONE BEFORE THE ILLEGALS STARTED FLOWING IN. I SAY THE U.S.A. SHOULD STOP ALL IMMIGRANTS FROM EVERYWHERE. WE CANNOT TAKE ON ANYMORE PEOPLE. THAT IS WHATS WRONG WITH OUR HEALTH CARE AND SOCIAL SECURITY. THE IMMIGRANT WILL BANKRUPT THE U. S. A.

It would be like it was 20 years ago before our government told them it was ok to break our immigration laws.

Sorry but I do not see anything possitive out of the 20 million illegal immigrants that are in this country. And quite frankly I think that people that are for amnesty are very uneducated about the long term effects.

Well, we wouldn't have to worry about these criminals driving with no insurance. Our taxes would go down, because there would be less on welfare. The grocery stores, and Wal-Mart would be a breeze to get in, and out of without a bunch of them standing, starring at us like dumb cows that refuse to move out of the way. I could go on, and on with the list of pros if these criminals were shipped out, and our borders were closed.

Haleburton would build a great big wall and charge us 350 billion dollars. They would also build a system of tunnels under it so they can continue to exploit illegal immigrants for cheap labor. The answer is not to deport and close the borders but to actively prosecute the corporations that subcontract to the sweatshops that exploit the people for cheap labor.

We'd be safer on the streets from drivers many of whom have never even ridden in a car much less driven one. We would be free of having to see every grocery store aisle marker written in Spanish. We would be able to demand better wages and benefits at our jobs because we wouldn't be in competition with low wage workers. Our neighborhoods would look better without sofas sitting in the lawn of a fushia colored house with 20 people living there blaring fiesta music all the time.

A lot of business who depends on illegal immigrant would have to hire legal workers who finally could find jobs that "Americans won't do". Of course, there would be less profit for greedy business.
