Exactly.
Christianity is based on hypocracy. Homosexual acts are part and parcel of what makes up a homosexual. To accept one part but deny the other is stupidity cubed.
Essentially christians are saying "gays and lesbians, we'll accept you into our cult if you deny your true nature and lie to yourselves and the world for the rest of your lives".
And that's just pathetic.

I'm a Christian and I accept both. If "We" is referring to fundamentalist christians, then I'm sad to say that most of them will never accept gays, homosexuality etc. cos they call it an abomination, and are ignorant to the fact that nowhere in the bible does it mention homosexuality and it being a sin. Yes, And pls don't quote Leviticus and Romans or mention about the Sodomites... all those are misintepretations of the bible due to the literal translation of its texts. The bible also says that when a woman's husband dies without bearing a child, the widow has to have sex with her 2 brothers to bear the child, and it also mentions that masturbation is a sin... that a man who spills his seed is the same as killing his son, and these were written as such because the people in those days thought that the semen was the source of the baby itself and the woman's womb only provided a place for the unborn baby. These fundamentalist christians... they will never understand, and most will never even try to understand because of the fear of hell cos that's what their churches tell them to believe: that homosexuals will go to hell and are not part of the Christian community. You and I and others who love God and know that we are equal in the eyes of God, know that homosexuality is NOT a sin, but not accepting God's children, is. So, take comfort in that.

No b/c speaking French is not considered a sin. And who said we accept French people...just kidding. :o)

Homosexual acts is what causes homosexuality. Most Christians realize people are going to be gay. It's not a sin to be gay. It's the sex act with the same sex that's unclean, or sinful. The best way to deal with it and not sin is abstinence.

It's only ignorant Christians that spout off hate and say God hates gays. I can disagree with your lifestyle and not hate you. Disagreement and hate are two very different things.

remarkable assessment. There are all varieties of double standards in religious books. asserting try this for one element and then ignoring thoroughly yet another element. human beings decide on what they desire to have faith, and depart the stuff that they do no longer even desire to contemplate. I remember giving a communication in Church one week (an prolonged time in the past) I chosen to talk on a particular commandment, which reported the flaws one can do and the flaws one shouldn't do. lots of the congregation I knew, complied with the do no longer DO, ruling, yet whilst it got here all the way down to the could DO, those regulations have been thoroughly skipped over. i became never asked to talk returned because of the fact I made maximum of sense uncomfortable. of path there are people who pontificate from the previous testomony and the recent testomony, yet they do no longer desire to think of approximately particular factors that could impact ththeir own lives. One clarification why I now no longer belong to an prepared faith.

if i understand your question right .know that a person can always change their sinnful ways ,make no mistakes a homosexual act is a sin,so who are we to hate or pass judgement on a person.for we too were also sinners and still fall short of perfection.that is why we can make this statement"that we love the person but hate the sin". this is not the same as your example.your example would be accurate if you said i accept people from france but do not like the language

It is like saying Jesus ate with sinners but not the pharasees because the pharasees thought that they were right and high and mighty but the sinners recognized their need and were humble. Luke 15:2 Although He even ate with the pharasees too Luke 7:36-50
Luke 18:10-14, Revelation 21:8, Leviticus 18:22

It would be if God had said that speaking French is an abomination. All sexual activity outside of marriage is not right with God. Adultery is not ok.

May you have a safe and Happy New Year.

Who says that Christians accept Homosexuality. Never. We accept the human person who is Gay. Certainly you are not comparing the truth to your worldly life. A lie is not the truth and truth cannot be turned into a lie which many of this disorder do to rationalize the condition.

No. It is more like saying:

"We understand that some people have a predisposition towards alcoholism. However, our understanding does not give them a license to drink themselves to death and abandon their loved ones for their drug of choice."

Don't make such wild claims as that.
I'm a Christian, and I most certainly do not accept homosexuality. It's an abomination to God.
