It called a Casualty Call. The Marine that is passing the message is usually an Officer. He is known as a CACO (Casualty Assistance Call Officer)

I am not absolutely positive on this one...but, I am relatively sure they call it Casualty Notification. I have had several family and friends in the Marines, and I seem to remember them using this phrase when talking about notifying someones family.

sorry, can't quite answer your question, but flag duty is a ceremony every morning and evening where the U.S. flag is raised and lowered every day on every american base. usually consists of 5 soldiers (depending on the size of the flag) and they follow a specific protocol for raising the flag in the morning and lowering the flag at night.

No, flag duty is just raising and lowering the flag. It's literally called "Death Notification", I couldn't find a special name for it
