I have tried zooming in continuosly, but it does not work. The pic. always shows up as small when I upload it on myspace. I have a Lexmark X1240. I really need some help bc I want my picture to be larger. Thanks!

Use photoediting software like photoshop, but photoshop costs money so download gimp at www.gimp.org, Its like photoshop but free.

Not familiar with Myspace but it's possible that the problem is with Myspace and not your scanner - many similar websites limit picture sizes so even if you upload a really big picture it gets resized down to a smaller one.
Your scanner should have a dpi (dots per inch) setting that you can set when scanning - try selecting a larger number such as 300 or more, this will scan your original to a larger size.
Once the image is scanned into your computer you should also be able to enlarge it using the photo imaging software you have installed - usually these settings can be found under a heading such as Picture Properties. Don't try and enlarge an image too much using this method as you'll lose picture quality, better to scan at a higher resolution (dpi).

You must change the resolution. The default will be something relatively coarse - possibly 200 x 200 dpi. Changing it to 300 x 300 will increase the size by 50% (and so on).

what size did you scan it in at? try using imaging software that came with the scanner and resize it to whatever you want. Most onscreen sizes are 640 x 480 pixels or 1280 by 960.

You can try to print it and find the printable areas, make it bigger.
You can also buy software called Digital Image Pro 10, it lets you edit your pics.
