whenever you move her she starts a grunting noise repeaditly until she tries to barf and nothing comes out

she drinks then barfs it up / same with food

Well there are a number of things that can cause these symptoms and only a vet will be able to tell you for sure. Sorry that people are being mean to you. There are always people on there that assume the worst and jump on the warpath without knowing all the details. Not all places in the world have a 24 hour emergency vet facility around. My parents for instance, live in a very rural area and they are pretty much SOL after hours too. Most vets, however, have a number on their answering machine that you can call in case of middle of the night emergencies. I would try that if I were you. Small dogs can dehydrate quickly and since you don't know what is wrong, better to be safe than sorry. If there is no emergency number from any vet in your area and no emergency vet in a close by city, then try to keep her warm and comfortable, you can try to keep her hydrated by just dribbling a teaspoon of water at a time into her mouth or using a syringe if you have one. Check her gums, if they are pink and moist, she is still hydrated well, if they are pale and sticky, then she is dehydrated. Take her to the vet as soon as it is possible. Wish I could help more:( Good luck!!

Sounds like she may have a blockage and that is an emergency. Take her to the vet tonight. Tomorrow may be too late.

Maybe a hairball. You best get her to a veterinarian if you care about her. Little dogs can go real fast. Could be other problems. A vet will probably know. There are several treatments for hairballs--medicines and food. But if I were you, still I would get her to a veterinarian and fast

My dog developed this situation last year. After blood tests, xrays, stool tests and other things they found nothing wrong with him. I think it was huge stress due to the new puppy in his life. However, there may be a blockage in your dog and should be taken to a vet quickly. I wish you dog much health.

Take Her to the Vet, and if there is anything wrong with her they will more than likely have a medicine that will make her better.
Good Luck!

SHE NEEDS TO GO TO A VET NOW!!!

It really sounds like she has an intestinal blockage and can be deadly if not treated soon. She really really needs to see a vet.
