Is the air we breathe imaginary? Can you see that? We all have a right to believe in what we cannot see. I feel sad for you that you judge someone who believes in religion. This is America and we have the right to choose the Freedom of Religion. It is a sad place when you have to make excuses like mental illnesses because you choose not to have a religion. We don't judge you. You are still loved. Even though you don't believe, may God Bless you. Hugs to you. It is what I know and it is my sincerity from my heart that I wish you the best in your life.

Your lack of knowledge makes you ignorant and you speak on things you know nothing about yet you claim to be wise. Our existence, our reason for living is to truly become who we are. The living presence of Christ in the world and thus return in joy to the Father in heaven. That is the real reality. Rather scary to be lost. to not know who you are and where you are heading. That would indicate to me that you are out of touch with reality and people who are out of touch with reality by definition are insane. There are many of these people today, its some kind of identity crisis and I am sure many are institutionalized.

"At this point Festus interrupted Paul's defence. "You are out of your mind, Paul!" he shouted. "Your great learning is driving you insane." (Acts 26:24). Yet minutes later King Agrippa professed himself on the verge of becoming a Christian and he and Festus were minded to release Paul but for the fact that he had appealed to Caesar in Rome.
I quote this episode only to show that there is nothing new or original about this criticism. Agrippa, Bernice and Festus listened to Paul's message. Have you ever actually stopped to listen?

Maybe you should be institutionalized for stomping all over peoples right to believe whatever they want. You seem to be happy believing you are the only one in the whole world capable of choosing what you will or wont believe. Should we fit you with a white jacket?

No. human beings have faith what they suspect. It would not lead them to loopy. in the eyes of somebody that may no longer religious, in line with threat it may look a splash accessible, yet this is basically because of the fact they don't understand. human beings's faiths are a huge area of who they're. Mine IS who i'm. i could no longer trust some, yet I somewhat do no longer think of they have a psychological ailment.

hahahahahahahaha! what a blunt question!
lemme tell you if we consider it then religion in general is mental illness to a small subtle degree....now dont mistake me for atheist...i believe in god not the hypocricy of religion, a barrier between a person and god....and for me god would be imaginary if i hadn't felt the presence of this all encompassing force....it is too practical for some who will denounce it as supernatural and imaginary!
sometimes things that are so practical are the hardest o understand and therefore we dismiss them as unrealistic when in reality it is as clear as day and night and knowing that you and i exist.

Some religious people are also mentally ill. But most of them aren't because they function well enough in everyday life - if this is a serious question.

And I guess you are the self appointed judge of who is "imagining" and who should be locked away in an institution.
(Who's gonna check your judgement?)
Just think of all those children and adults you could lock away who have some imagination, not to mention spirituality.
Are you a psychiatrist trying to drum up some business???
