He better grow out of it. Make it very clear that biting is not acceptable. I got my dog who hated to walk an EasyWalker. It's like a harness that clips in the front Its like $30 but worth it.

Biting and growling at any age is not a behavior you should be accepting. It's not cute. You need to be dominant over him or he will take the role of leader and you will be in trouble. At this point he is testing the waters. Correct him at the instant he shows dominance. Tiff is right, he will not grow out of it. The growls will become more frightening, and the bites will soon draw blood or at least hurt alot.
There is a site you can go to www.cesarmillaninc.com He is a dog expert and will train you how to teach your dog.

grab his mouth and keep it shut look straight into his eyes and then bite him in one ear
and say dont you dare growl at me
this is possible with a puppy
a fully grown rotwheiler will bite your head off
that is why it is better to impress and control him when small.
they do not grow out of it with age ,instead they will get more dangerous
do not accept a growling puppy
we used to give our puppies a bone ,then take it away ,if it growled, hit him over the head with the bone ,better a little hard in the beginning than dogmeat in the end.

Your puppy is not sure if you are his / her "pack leader." You have to establish yourself as dominant, in a calm, quiet manner. When the puppy bites you, tap (not slap) the nose and say, "no." Make it clear that you are in charge. Put the dog on a short leash, and don't allow it to run around you. Dogs are happier when they get to be submissive. Be the leader, and he can follow. Otherwise, he will try to take on the role of "pack leader," and you will continue having problems that will grow as the puppy does.

Is it possible that your puppy is playing? Does he bite hard? Is he angry? I don,t know where you got your puppy but it is possible that whoever had him before would play rough with him, also it could be his breed....I don,t think that i would allow him to do this. You need to start holding him and stroking him gently, and let him know that you will not allow him to play rough. It would not hurt to spat him lighty with a small rolled up paper, not to hurt him ,but to let him know that you will not allow that type of behavior..He sounds as though he is aggressive,to be only 3 months old.you will have to give him lots of gentle love and pats and be strict enough to let him know who is boss...If you can,t tame him, then maybe a few obedience lessons are needed...Good luck with your new puppy.I do wish you would have gave us more info as to who had him before and what breed he is,but anyway good luck.As far as how long his agressiveness will last? It will get worse if you don,t get control .

It is normal for a puppy to do that but from an early age you need to teach him that to bite is bad. Scold him when he growls and bites reward him when he doesn't.

He's just a puppy. You should buy him a couple of chew toys. He is probably just teething. When he growls at you juts tell him no and make a point that it is wrong to growl at his owner.

He is a baby. this playfulness needs to be patiently rejected. he is not a bad dog, just unknowing. However a bigger older dog doing this will hurt and be a nuisance. My puppy has just about grown out of it by 14 months.

No he will NOT grow out of it!
This is a basic dominance issue. You need to read a book on how to establish a correct pack order.
Next time, don't get a dog unless you know how to properly take care of/discipline it.
