Alright guys....Does it matter how long it takes him to respond to my emails?

Question

A guy I like takes days to respond to my online messages.
Is this a sign he is not interested, or am I reading too much into it?

Well the fact he is writing back tells you he is somewhat interested, but you will never know how much until you just give him your number and see if he calls.

Hello!

I suggest that you give this guy a telephone call hun. There are a lot of guys out here today that aren't really into the text , typing thing and would rather talk on the telephone a bit or get together.

There are many possibilities to the reasons he's not emailing you back promptly.

1. If he has a job then hes working and when he get home he's tired and don't feel like reading emails.
2. It could be that hes as I stated not into the typing and texting trend and would rather talk on the phone or hang out.
3. Ok, he may not be as interested in you as you are him (but I don't think so if he's responding)
4. This isn't meant to be funny here but serious.. his junk filter might be turned up a notch or two too much. And your emails are getting into his wrong box.( hence why your not getting replies fast, cause he's having to go through hin junk mail to ensure important emails aren't in there)

Hun, don't read to much into it try talking to him first and see what's going on. Getting worried about things without knowing whats going on isn't something you need to be doing.

So what are you waiting for call this guy up and seek the information you are wanting to know first hand. That's the only way you'll know the truth. And you can either move on or keep on one of the two with him.

I am in a similar situation. I can honestly say that if its a 1st or 2nd contact thing then it can take a few days, because people like to play games.

However, if it has been going on for a while then he is likely not that into you. Or worse he is an abusive personality and he wants to see how much inattention you will take and still want him. Either way not a good sign.

Yet, being that you have even written this means you want something so give him a little test. Don't instant message him and see who if or when he will flinch.

I know as a girl, I think the same way.... especially when I am anticipating an email.. guys normally do take a while to send messages.. but then again, we as girls do think too much... we have to stop thinking so much.. like when a guy says "cool" to something and we think, cool? thats it? are you kidding me? So yes.. we need to stop thinking and really care less... I know its hard.. but try and give it a try!

Is he a generally busy person? Like has a lot of things to do? If so, then that's possibly why.

He might also be playing hard to get, and doesn't want to look too "easy" to get.
