Because when you fall in love for that first time it's the first time you feel those feelings, and they feel like they could never be more intense... No one truly gets over their first love until they fall in love again, and it's stronger than the first.
When you lose that first love it hurts, because your scared it'll never happen again for you, and because you love them soo much, don't worry, you'll fall in love again, and when you do it'll hit you harder then ever before.

Beacuse it's the first time you finally feel "something you can't explain. I had my "first love" at 14, summertime of course. He was everything I could ever hope for. then the Jerk said he still loved his ex g/f. BASTARD! You know what though. When i wasnt looking I met the most adorable,handsome sweetest guy in the entire world. We met when I was 15 and 6 years later we have been married for 2 years and have 3 beautiful daughters and 1 on the way. I may have had a "first love" but now Im with my TRUE LOVE!!! Don't lose faith. your perfect match is out there somewhere!

Oh, I know just how you feel! My boyfriend just broke up with me a month ago, and I can't get him off my mind! Maybe its because, you're worried about them finding a new love in their life. You can only picture the two of you together all the time, and then, that gets taken away. The feeling takes a while to go away sometimes too.

No....True Love Makes an Impression Like the Waves Make an Impression in the Cliffs and the Hillsides. Even though the water is beautiful crashing against the rocks or the side of the cliff..it damages the land.

because the first love is the best. Its the only one you've had & it just feels SO good. Ive never really gotten over my first love & we broke up almost 3 years ago.

I wasn't fine with mine and that was 13 years ago when I was just 15 years old!!!!
She meant the world to me then and did for many years; I saw her in the pub recently during a visit back home and all the feelings came flooding back for the both of us, we knew it was wrong as we'd both grown in different ways of life...so left it alone, it was a horrible decision to make but sometimes the choice isn't yours to make.

its so hard because if you were in love with them then you were prbably with them for a while. someone you love knows everything about you and you tell them everything . you become really comfortable with them and everthing and its hard to be without them . my first love and i ended our relationship in july and its still hard i still miss having him around even though i know us breaking up was for the best seeing as hes not the same person i fell in love with but at times i cant help but still miss him. hope this kinda anwsers your question

Because you have no other point of reference. A survey of one says you're a loser, so to speak, because the relationship didn't work out. Later, you've probably dumped as many as have dumped you and you're getting both used to it and immune to the heartbreak.

the first cut its the deepest, always, ...after a few more relationships you will feel better...but you will never forget your first true love ( i haven't and its been like 3-4 yrs already, and i dont see him)
