There are many things one needs to make gas. Unless you have a place to store and mix them it not possible.Plus what are you going to do with the waste?
Or you could eat lots of beans.

OK
1. take some crude oil
2. Get a coker.
3. separate the oils and the petroleum products.
4. you have gas.
cost 15mil for a small system
or buy it from Conoco. they pay all the federal fees for you

I find the best way is to eat lots of beans, hard boiled eggs, and wash it all down with beer. Works everytime and I don't have to worry about storing it.

No need to make. Just poke a hole in that giant pipe running through your town. Bring buckets. Only works if you're in Africa.

Better off making your own ethanol, systems are a few hundred bucks and corn is actually available, where would you get your own crude?
