Well, I got my hair straightened and I think my scalp didn’t like the treatment at all so after the treatment, I got some burns on my scalp and A LOT of my hair fell off. I’m not bald or anything but some parts of my scalp don’t really have much hair anymore. And my scalp has some bumps on it too—maybe because of the slight burns I got from the hair treatment. So if you guys know a natural cure or medicine or ointment or something for scalp burns and falling hair please do help me. And is it okay for me to take a bath everyday or it might lead to more hair loss? I’m still quite young so about how long will it take for my hair to grow back again? I do need your help and Prayers please…. If there is a doctor or anyone else out there who is reading my message pls help! Thank you God bless and Merry Christmas!

You need to see a dermatologist, be prepared he or she may suggest that you cut all of your hair off and start new depending upon the extent of the damage to your scalp.

As far as vitamins go biotin seems to do a lot for hair and nail growth but ask the dr as it may intefere with whatever they prescribe.

Massage your scalp-grab one of those little ones from bed bath and beyond or linens and things. do this evey night before you go to sleep if your dr says its ok.

no more chemical treatments for a year would be my guess. i get a perm but i dont blow dry or curl my hair which makes my hair stronger. heatless is the way to go but i hear ceramic tools are good and safe but i say heat free whenever possible is the kindest to your hair.

once your dr gives you the ok to resume n ormal hair products visit the longhaircareforum.com for tips on products to grow hair longer and make it healthier. these are tips form real people who have long hair. many of them have hair logs and you can watch their hair grow over weeks, months and years.

God Bless!

it happened to me once also when I bleached my hair. As a result, I lost a lot of hair too. I think the best thing to do is to go see a dermatologist because they would probably have to see your scalp and maybe prescribe some vitamins for hair growth and some kind of cream for the scalp. I hope that helps...

My advice would be to see a dermatologist. They may give you something that may take a few weeks before showing results, so until then, see a good hair salon for advice on hair styles. Also, try some hats(you'll find a large variety at this time of year). Hope this helps.

If you are only 15 any losing your hair, the first thing you have to do is see a doctor, either your family physician or a dermatologist. Alopecia (hair loss) could be a sign of a problem with your immune system. See your doctor and have some testing done and it could be corrected so your hair grows back on its own.
