without using arguments that someone from another religion would use to prove their god exists, and without reference to the Bible?

There is no way to prove that 'your god' exists. Everyone that has a religon pretty much belives in God. They beleive in 'their god' but dont beleive in 'your god'. they still claim they beleive in god. this is what stresses me out so much.

You don't have to use any refences or argue. you beleive in god. thats all that matters in my opinion. its your relgion, your choice.

How would you prove if your parents are your parents without any test ? Answer? it is inscribed in the human heart. The fact that there is a discussion of God shows the existance of God for He sustains all things. If the Human person never known or heard the Word why would the word ever come into existance if it was not put ther from the Creator.

This song tells it all

There is a God
By Carman
93 million miles from the blistering surafce of the sun hands the planet earth. A rotating sphere perfectly suspended in the center of the universe. The ultimate creation from an infinate mind. An unbelievably intricate complex design. A supernatural testimony, an irrefutable sign that there is a God.

The size, position and angle of the earth is a scientific phenomenon to see. A few degrees closer to the sun we'd disintegrate, a few degrees furter we'd freeze. The axis of the earth is titled at a perfect 23 degree angle and it's no mistake that it is. This allows equal global distribution to the rays of the sun making it possible for the food chain to exist.

Or take for example the combination of nitrogen and oxygen in the atmosphere we breathe every day. It just happens to be the exact mix that life needs to prosper, it doesn't happen on any other planet that way.

You see, the Bible says the invisible things of God are seen through His creation, to believe this is not hair. If there's a design, there's a designer, if there's a plan, there's a planner and if there's a miracle, there is a God.

CHORUS:
There is a hope, there is a light
There is an answer to all answers
There is a flame that burns in the night
And I know, I know, I know there is a God

The Scripture says the heavens decalre the glory of God and the skies proclaim the work of His hands. If we allow our minds to drink in all the truth that surrounds the truth that just surrounds us, creation itself with help us understand.

Did you know the moon controls the tides, it's the maid that cleans the oceans. Even the waves don't crash the shores in vain. The tides drag impurities from the depths of the sea, it's nature's constrant recycling chain.

It simply boggles the mind to think that the stars will rotate with such exact precision that it's true. That the atomic clock with an error factor of less than three seconds per millenium is set by the way we move.

Though they silently orbit, the sun, the moon, the stars are like celestial evangelists above. Who circle the earth every 24 hours shouting in every languages that there is a God. Atheism is the wedge under the foundation of our faith, trying to topple our relationship with Christ. When the fool said in his heart, there is no God, he rejects the truth God painted on the canvas of the night. Atheism has never created an artistic masterpiece, never healed a fatal disease or calmed a fear. Atheism has never still given answers to our existence, peace to a troubled mind or even dried a tear.

For it's God who created heaven and earth and flung the stars in space and breathed in the handful of dirt and it became a man. It's God who sits on the circle of the earth and measures the mountains in a scale, and holds the seven seas in the palm of His hand. It's God who sent His only begotten Son to the cross of Calvary to save our souls from Hell and the grave. It's God who creates, God who delivers, God who heals and who is worthy of a thunderous ovation of praise.

CHORUS(2x)

There is a God, there is a God
And I know, I know, I know there is a God

Greetings of peace and blessings to all!
Umm.. are you saying that while answering, we mustn't refer to our Holy Book to prove God's existence?... I think I'm misreading your message, but I hope that's not what you mean! My reasons are mainly logical and scientific--- and they come from the Holy Book of Quran.
(And as someone said, God can be proven through nature! Nature cannot happen by itself.)

See, the Quran contains facts (or as science would call them, 'theories') about science that scientists have discovered only recently. I'll give you some websites (listed in the "sources")that prove that my Lord exists, and those pieces of evidence and proof are from the Quran. If someone disagrees with me, do so all you wish; I'm not pressuring or even convincing anyone that God exists.
There are non-Muslim scientists who, upon finding new discoveries in science, go to the Quran where they confirm their discoveries.

**** From the shape of the mountains to the stages of human embryonic development in the womb to how breathing gets more difficult when you fly higher to THE SPEED OF LIGHT to the expanding universe to the Big Bang Theory to the fact that humans evolved from ocean life to the position of the ...*****

The list is endless, trust me. Please visit the websites below if you're interested, and I guarantee you that they'll answer your question.
This is the absolute reason that I believe science and faith CAN coincide with each other. Don't agree? Not a problem at all! We all have own religions to follow, our own beliefs to treasure, our own opinions to express, and our own paths to walk on.

Peace and blessings be upon all readers and their loved ones :D!

I wouldn't try to prove it. You are not going to accompany me to heaven, so why argue the point? Not saying that you aren't going there! I am just going alone, I think, there may be some theological argument to that too. This God of mine is just real. Allot of people say you have got to have faith. I find that the longer I live the less faith I need. I see him in everything anymore. Sort of fantasy morphing to fact, through time and events. It's allot like looking at Japanese writing. If you look at it you have no idea what it says. After spending a loooong time with it and it's people you start understanding it. Then people look at you like you're nuts when you see and understand things they can't. But, they can, if they try. My job or my mission is to try to get people to attempt to try. After that they are on their own. Hope this helps a little. Don't know if I helped at all. But all you wanted was an opinion right?

You cannot prove it for several reasons.
a) You cannot prove a negative.
b) If you could prove God then the proof would be greater than God and you would have an oxymoron.
c) If you could prove God, then the author, judge, etc of the proof would be greater than the proof greater than God an even greater oxymoron.
Proofs are those things which can be replicated in othe space/time settings. God is a matter of faith.

I could never prove to someone that God exists; just like you can't prove he doesn't exist. But if I'm right your screwed.

Don't have to. Your the one who will piss himself when you stand before Him after your death.
Order of the universe(a finely tuned watch must have a watchmaker)The setting of the Earth in just the right spot .At the right tilt ,at the right distance from the Sun,alittle closer ,we'd fry or freeze in the other direction. And fulfilled prophecies ,none have ever failed. And changed lives for the better.Period.

I am here typing this to you and refuting your claim that God doesn't exist. If there was not a God why would so many people worship. There is one God of many names and we are the proof that it exists.
