I think it's because they're high in antioxidants or something, whatever that means.

Ithink you are asking why is cranberry good for you. I dont know about just the berrys but the acid in the juice is good to kill the bacteria that causes bladder infections.

They help with kidney function mostly. The kidneys remove waste from the blood stream, and you excrete that material in your bodily waste.

I'm not sure what aspect of the cranberry it is, but I know it helps to purify your body.
