I had the exact same problem. My straightener was so big it didn't do anything but heat up my hair. I would get a ceramic conair. NO REVLON!!!!!!!!!!! I repeat, NO REVLON!!!!!!!!! Their straighteners stink!! again, get a ceramic they work really good on thin hair that curls at the bottom. I know because my hair is the exact same way.

OMG i got this straightener that works. I have very curly hair and i use almost every day. I an get me hair as straight as a board. the name of it is CHI. It works. U can get it at a Solon or at target. the one that they sell at the Solon's r cooler, but they cost around $125.00.

Honestly any one worth about 30$ are good, i mean they all do the same thing, they create heat on a hot surface.
