God shows Himself all the time -- in nature, through the people around us, through the blessings and talents He's bestowed on us.

When a doctor performs a successful life-saving operation using state-of-the-art equipment, for instance, that's God at work.

That's because He gave the doctor the skill he has, and He gave people the skill to develop all that equipment.

God never showed himself. he showed signs. the only time he showed himself was when he manifested himself into flesh and walked the earth. that would be Jesus. the rest the time he would have a burning bush or something else but not himself. he even said no man hath seen him. we cant. he is a spirit. even as Jesus we did not see him as a spirit just flesh. and he shows himself daily go outside and look at the trees. the Bible says that there is no excuse not to believe in God because of all the nature. and he shows those who believe miracles like healings. look up aids being cured. not by medicine but thru Jesus Christ. and for those who dont fully believe he says in his word that the Holy Spirit is not for those who believe but for those who dont believe.

Why should He? He was mistreated and beaten
the last time He came to live among us, and hung
up on a cross to die a terrible death. He foiled them
all by rising from the dead after 3 days, but He
does not need to return for more of the same. The
Bible says "blessed are those who have seen me
and my miracles and believe, but more blessed are
those who have not seen me and still believe".

When did God show himself? Read the book, then ask some questions. 'Why doesn't your God ride a bicycle any more? Why aren't there elves and dwarves walking around anymore? Jeez.

We are breathing because of him. The earth is revolving because of him. The plants takes carbon dioxide from us and make oxygen to keep us alive. The sun gives us life constantly. You need understanding of Great God. Not the silly questions. God is so kind to give necessary necessities to people even who do not believe in him/her. That's he/she is great

God shows Himself to me everyday through multiple things and ways. Through the love of my family or the beauty of nature or the blessings I count on a regular basis; I see Him there. There's nothing like it ever and I will never forget it.

The fact that you personally have not yet seen Him is pretty shaky grounds on which to claim that "He doesn't show Himself any more". Especially when millions of intelligent people claim that He has in fact revealed Himself to them, both directly and indirectly.

He does. He performs miracles everyday. People just choose to not see. It is a miracle when a baby is born, or when you wreck your car and the car is so smashed it looks like it has been compacted and you walk out of it without a scratch. Watch the ocean, that is a miracle. They are everywhere. Just open your eyes and look.
