I am suffering from depression, I have been able to cope with it, but it has been feeling like the time is going by so much faster since I was feeling depressed. Does time seem to go by quicker when you are depressed??

The time seems go really slow at times, but most of the time it just seems to fly by.

for me time goes by fast because I want to be alone and just stay in bed and even though inside I feel like I want the world to stop it doesn't it just keeps going...so yeah it goes by to fast then the next thing you know you lose track of the time and day and then get more depressed because they are gone now...

I would imagine that in depression, time would go by slower
id think that if you were depressed you would have no care for what time it was or how long it took you to do something, but im sure there are many different ways to be depressed and what do i kno, ive never been depressed
srry

Well, not for me it doesn't. Just trying to get through each day is rough, time drags, and the day never seems to end fast enough. But each person is different. Although I do wonder sometimes where the time went, unless you get help and start to be able to enjoy life again, before you know it life is gonna slip right by you

Perception of time depends on how much you look at the clock.
