PDF is actually a document format. If you want to create a pdf of a jpeg image, you'll need something that can create pdf's. Adobe's graphics and Acrobat apps can, but if you don't own them and want something quick and free, and aren't attempting to generate a pdf for professional publication, try something like PrimoPDF. It, like other pdf generators, installs as a printer. You can then open your jpeg in whatever graphic program you desire, and "print" it to a pdf.

pdf is Adobe format - you have to purchase Adobe software for formatting that way and pictures usually don't fall under that category. Besides, Adobe stuff is way many $$ and not worth it - you'd be better off sticking to the jpg which is also able to be inserted into pdf files.

?Do you have adobe photoshop? If not, you can still save a pic in that format, but won't be able to open it back up again with any other program than Adobe software.
