I'm not an alcoholic, it's auto-immune hepatitis. Doc says to start prednisone then work up to immuran, but debating about having more kids, so i haven't started the drugs yet.

Don't want to scare you, but you probably should see a doctor(specialist) and get a c-scan. Sounds like same symptoms I had, and it turned out my liver was really enlarged. Do you, by chance, pass gas more often than usual, feel bloated? If so, don't use salt (it's ok in cooked foods), and NO alcohol, if you drink.
Wish you luck.

Cirrhosis, as you no doubt know is caused through excessive drinking. If you have forgone the pleasures(?) of drinking alcohol then you should see a doctor as the pains may have nothing to do with the cirrhosis.

If you haven't given up drinking, then I suggest you stop immediately and still go to the doctor to ascertain whether the pain is in the liver (which is on the right-hand side of your body) or , possibly, in your kidneys which can be either, or both, sides of your body.

Cirrhosis is a serious condition and the outcome of contracting the condition is entirely in your hands, Alcohol, for you is now a poison. The amount is relatively unimportant...ANY alcohol can be fatal. This is not a matter of being an alcoholic or not for you...it is a matter of life and death.

Please see your doctor immediately and please don't take another drink until your doctor tells you it's OK. (though he probably won't!)

Don't delay...see your doctor NOW!

Well, I have acid reflux so when I get a stomach ache 3+ days in a row, I know that's why......I go back on my bland food diet and take anti-acids daily until it stops. When I get occasional nausea from acid reflux I drink ice water, eat a banana, take an anti-acid pill and watch a movie or listen to music/surf the web and not move from my chair until it stops. Peppermint tea is also supposed to help soothe stomach aches, btw also when was the last time you took a crap? maybe your constipated and that's why....(lol, i know how that goes cause it happens to me everytime i go on vacation for some reason!) they've got meds at the store to help with that

That is probably your liver giving you pain. Please read up on the internet about cirrhosis so you know what is going on.
