Can God make a rock bigger than he can roll?
You might as welll ask how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. Why do atheists always end up painting themselves into a corner where all they can do is split hairs?
A true atheist would be one who rejects the organized religion due to the many problems with it. However it appears that most atheists close their minds, throw the baby out with the bathwater and then believe their personal job is done only if they can heckle the religionists. Reminds of the character "Donkey". To ridicule others strengthens their resolve to never never consider religion worthy of investigation past a certain limp wristed effort. Ridicule is a weapon as effective as bullets. It can kill the spirit of one who is not aware that the one doing the ridiculing feels impotent and must feed his super sized empty spot by tormenting someone. It is true that most religion is a nice big bullseye that is easy to hit. So satisfying and the perks are great and its oh so easy.
What happens to most atheists is they get tired of that easy target and convert to the Church of Latterday Saints so that they can lob their shots at the harder to hit atheists. Jeez I don't know!
Boy is that ridiculing thing fun and easy!

Wrong. He would be perfect because He is the definition and epitome of the His own word, ergo, He can change as much as He wants to yet still remain the same. Just ask any practicing Christian to explain the concept to You. Good luck!

That is correct. Any change in something/someone perfect would necessarily mean becoming imperfect. Which is why one of the revealed characteristics of God is immutability. He never changes, always remains the same, in a state of absolute perfection.

What makes you think that God has changed. He himself said he hasn't changed.
isaiah 43: 10-13: " “YOU are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “even my servant whom I have chosen, in order that YOU may know and have faith in me, and that YOU may understand that I am the same One. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none. 11 I—I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior.”
12 “I myself have told forth and have saved and have caused [it] to be heard, when there was among YOU no strange [god]. So YOU are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I am God. 13 Also, all the time I am the same One; and there is no one effecting deliverance out of my own hand. I shall get active, and who can turn it back?”

no one would ever know if he changed in any way or not, so I don't understand your question. However, philosophically speaking what is "perfect" anyway? who is to say? and, everyone would have a different description for the word "perfect" anyway, right?.

If donkeys could fly then presumably it would be a whole lot easier to get them to move. Right?

I think that God sets his own standards for what "perfect" is.

Your question has a built in assumption: change is value neutral. The answer to that question determines the answer to your general question.,
