I purchased a DVD player that has an "angle" feature. When I first purchased it, I managed (by luck I suppose) to rent a DVD that allowed me to pan the angle on the picture.

Since then, I haven't been able to use the feature. Was the angle feature on DVDs just a passing novelty? If not, what should I look for on DVD packaging to know when I can use the angle feature?

These days most DVD's don't have this feature. It sounded like a great idea 10 years ago, but now movie companies just put extras to put in scenes that were not in the original release.

I know Lion King and Toy Story has multiple angles. I have found that most concert DVD's have multiple angles.

Usually, they will list "multi-angles" in the back of the DVD.
