i got judged a lot and people even say bad things about me in front of my bf whenever we are on a break just b/c they dont know me.

YES! My ex's friends would always comment about how I didn't talk to them. It's not like they reached out to me or attempted to talk to me other than "Hi, how are you?" After that greeting, they would begin to ignore my presence.
I normally don't speak until spoken to.

I've been judged b/c I talk too much. My b/f says people he knows think I'm a snob b/c I talk a whole lot. I wouldn't worry about it. These people are the ones missing out on your friendship and you didn't do anything wrong so I would just brush it off and move on.

First of all there is nothing wrong with being shy, and being a good listener is harder than being a constant talker. So good for you! As for what the people are saying...its one of two things. They either think you are a snob or you dont like them. I went through this most of my life as well. It sounds cliche' but the ones worth having as friends, will take you as you are and be willing to let you approach them at you own pace.

People could hate you if you talked too much. If they hate you for this, then they are looking for a reason not to like you. If they are saying bad things about you in front of your boyfriend then apparently they are trying to get some kind of reaction from you. Stay away from losers like this. Break up with your loser boyfriend if he is exposing you to horrendous and crude people. RUN FAST.

I know I'm quick to judge people who don't say much... it's probably wrong but I like out spoken people go out on a limb strike up a conversation... then they can judge you based on what you say not what you don't.

No. I'm really shy in school but I still have lots of friends and as far as I know, most people like me. Even the "cool" people like me and talk to me.

Well that sounds like something that would happen. People tend to judge and make fun of people out of the norm, usually because they are unsure of themselves.

Yes. Sometimes i'm quiet around a friend/ex boyfriend of mine and he doesn't like that. when i am quiet he does not understand why and it makes him uncomfortable. Well, people shouldn't be saying bad things about you, that isn't right. Stick up for yourself girl!

It is not that they dun like you. They just find you boring that is all. There must be a 2 way communication in any relationship...
