Yes but why is he poor? Is he a teenager and his parents are just not on the wealthy side or is he an adult who chooses to be broke all the time because of laziness. If he is a teenager then yes I'd give him a break and go out with him as a friend.Maybe it will lead to something else. If he is an adult, watch out, he could just be the type that gets by on his looks.

I would love to find a guy I'm interested in that is into me - money is not an object. I would even have a serious relationship with him if the feelings were mutual. If people look to money only they will be sadly disappointed.

Sure. My first husband made a lot of money but that's not why I went out with him. Of course, money didn't make us happy. I started dating my current husband after the divorce and he didn't make much money. We've been married six years and have so much fun together. The point is...while the money may make some day-to-day things a lot easier, it's no predictor of how loving and fulfilling a relationship will be.

looks fade with time so are really irrelevant to me... good manners,,, nice but not whimpy... and his financial situation is actually totally irrelevant...
ask the man I am with now... when I met him he worked on a farm drove a beat up ute and had the seat out of his pants... it totally stunned me when he said after we had seen each other several times that I was the ONLY woman he had dated that did not ask how much he earned, how much he had in the bank and when he was going to buy his own home.....
Really I think and believe that finances are such a dumb measure of a human beings worth that anyone who is asking such questions needs her head read..

I would, have, and am with a guy who was poor. I stood by his side and now we are well off. 4 years passed and we stuck together because he is a great & lovable guy.
We are inseperable.

definitely...money doesn't matter to me at all. as long as he cares about me, is nice, and respects me i'd go out with him. most of the rich guys i know are snobby and stuck up. i really don't only look for rich guys...if a guy catches my attention it is because of his personality, looks, and uniqueness.
