I have two mini doxies and their personalities are like babies. They were both like that when they were puppies. They will get better when they are about a year old. There is really nothing you can do about it. You will just need to be patient. Try giving her a rawhide bone, the one with the flavor in the middle. That will keep her busy. This was what seemed to help me.

Hi Jenw, The love mini doxy. For her being 5 months she should be running, and jumping, and playing. I would take her to your vet.She sounds like she is in some pain. You need to take her A.S.A.P. WE DON'T WANT ANYTHING TERRIBLE TO HAPPEN TO OUR BABY.Just keep her warm, and still until she gets to the vet. I really hope it's not to serious. Love her,and take good care of her. A person who loves all pets.

Get this girl to a vet. Something is physiologically wrong. Make no mistake about it. Book the appointment. Like yesterday! Is not psychological as you think. Good luck to both.Hope your Christmas was great and a Happy healthy prosperous New Year.

This is not normal behavior for a 5 month old puppy. Have your vet check her out ASAP.

Animal behaviourist
Or do it yourself. When she cries don't console her, dont' treat her, etc.
Annnnnnd. Put your hand on her mouth and tell her 'no'. Everytime she squeaks, say it again.
That's what I did for my doggy, and he's much better now.
