I can't out do "Livin in Mertal Beach"'s answers, but I can add. It's called the Book of Jublies. Suportly mosses wrote it, and it includes a bunch of stories about them. But a requirement of studying them is Gen. 6:1-4 (I'm going to get that tattooed one of thease days!). It's the staple as you may know. Also please read The Book of Enoch, this book written by Noah's Grandfather tells the stories of Nephilim. Anouther un expected sorce are two ficton books "The Silance in Heven" has a reserch chapter in the end of the book, also Tess Garson's new Book "The Metophsto Club" has some amazing chanpters of reserch in it, also at the end it has a resech chapter. One final place you may find a glimps of something is Itain Witchcraft, thet have "The Watchers" and "The Gregori".
Good Luck

why did you answer the question........and that, incorrectly.
Aliens have nothing to do with it unless you don't believe in the disobedient angels.
"And the angels that did not keep their original position but forsook their own proper dwelling place" -Jude 6
"Now it came about that when men started to grow in numbers on the surface of the ground and daughters were born to them, then the sons of the [true] God began to notice the daughters of men, that they were good-looking; and they went taking wives for themselves, namely, all whom they chose" -Genesis 6:1-2
The sons of the true God here are the disobedient angels noted in June 6
"The Neph′i·lim proved to be in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of the [true] God continued to have relations with the daughters of men and they bore sons to them, they were the mighty ones who were of old, the men of fame."
-Genesis 6:4
The Nephilim.....Or, “The Fellers.” Heb., han·Nephi·lim′, “those who cause others to fall down.” are the offspring of the disobedient Angels.
During the flood the Nephilim died and the disobedient angels, which we can safely call demons at this time dematerialized and went back to heaven. It wasn't until 1914 (beginning of WW1) that they were hurled down with Satan the Devil.
Those are the facts concerning the Nephilim.

The Hebrew note from which Nephilim comes, ability "fellers", that's adult men who were violent and abusive of those smaller and weaker than they were. They were the little ones of human females and angels "who left heaven, took the style of adult men and begat little ones" as stated interior the Bible. They were human, yet not 1/2-godlike. Inasmuch as their fathers had human bodies, you'll surmise the human bodies were bodily ideal, that's with out the obstacles placed on humankind after the sin of Adam and Eve. They were human when you consider that at the same time as the Noachian flood got here, their fathers, the angels who had taken human form, might want to leave in the back of their bodies and go back to the spirit international, at the same time as the offspring might want to not. those angels who did leave were then despatched to Tartarus, an portion of extreme darkness, lower back in accordance to the Bible. That Greco-Roman mythologies will be depending on the thoughts of those creatures isn't with out benefit. evaluate the baby's sport of telephone. One man or woman tells a narrative and over generations of tellings it slowly will develop into something else.

The Christian disciple Jude wrote about them when he mentioned “the angels that did not keep their original position but forsook their own proper dwelling place.” (Jude 6) Why did they come to the earth? What wrong desire did Satan put in their heart to get them to leave the fine positions they had in heaven?
The Bible lets us know when it says: “The sons of the true God began to notice the daughters of men, that they were good-looking; and they went taking wives for themselves, namely, all whom they chose.” (Genesis 6:2) Yes, the angels put on fleshly bodies, and they came to earth to have sexual relations with beautiful women. But such love affairs were wrong for angels. This was an act of disobedience. The Bible indicates that what they did was just as wrong as the homosexual acts of the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. (Jude 6, 7) What resulted?
Well, babies were born to these angels and their wives. But the babies were different. They kept growing bigger until they became giants, wicked giants. The Bible calls them “mighty ones who were of old, the men of fame.” These giants tried to force everyone to be bad as they were. As a result, the Bible says that “the badness of man was abundant in the earth and every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only bad all the time.” (Genesis 6:4, 5) So Jehovah brought the Flood. The giants, or “Nephilim,” and all the wicked people were drowned. But what happened to the angels that had come to earth?
They did not drown. They put aside their fleshly bodies and returned to heaven as spirit persons. But they were not allowed to become part of God’s organization of holy angels again.
Since the time of the Flood, God has not permitted these demon angels to take on fleshly bodies, so they cannot directly satisfy their unnatural sexual desires. Yet they can still exercise dangerous power over men and women.

Try the link...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nephilim. Some think that they were fallen angels, or demons that somehow mated with humans, but in the N.T. Jesus says we willbe like the Angels, so it sounds like it was impossible for angel to mate. It seems to also have been some kind of plan by satan to corrupt human DNA. Maybe he used his demons to possess animals and then mate with females and gcreated demons, there are allkinds of wild stories out there. Google it to read up on all the theories.

You have it pretty well figured out , in other translations they are called "fellers" meaning to cause body harm , knocking down someone--the were most likely giant bullies that were huge and ferocious--with violence. They died at the flood because they were just the offspring of the demon angels that materialized to the earth, taking many wifes. These demons went back to the spirit realm.
Please note some diff. transl.
Youngs Literal Translation Gen. 6
4The fallen ones were in the earth in those days, and even afterwards when sons of God come in unto daughters of men, and they have borne to them -- they [are] the heroes, who, from of old, [are] the men of name. (Heros in the Bible are not what people paint hero's to be at present)--they were actually thugs.
Holoman Standard Christian Bible Gen. 6 4 The Nephilim [f] were on the earth both in those days and afterwards, when the sons of God came to the daughters of man, who bore children to them. They were the powerful men of old, the famous men.
Pleas note the result of the perverted action of angels taking as many women as they wanted & having offspring brought about violent conditions on the earth.considered to be the cause of the bully, Nephelim
New Living Translation Gen. 6
A World Gone Wrong
1 Then the people began to multiply on the earth, and daughters were born to them. 2 The sons of God saw the beautiful women[a] and took any they wanted as their wives.....
4 In those days, and for some time after, giant Nephilites lived on the earth, for whenever the sons of God had intercourse with women, they gave birth to children who became the heroes and famous warriors of ancient times.
5 The Lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil.
The demons, not the nephilim are those that at times can take on hazy forms of humans--and try to disquise themselves as ghosts of dead loved ones, and other even more perverted activity.
