I am having a New Years Eve party. I plan on serving beer & champagne but I would also like to have ingredients on hand to make 5 or so different mixed drinks. Which ones are the most popular?

Coke, 7up, OJ, Sour MIx, Cranberry Juice, Limes, tonic water That will cover about 90% of the drinks people want.
You can hit a few more with
Grapefruit juice, Grenadine, Cream.

All you really need on hand for everyone to have fun is a few of the basics. I suggest vodka (plain and/or vanilla), tequila and either a scotch or a rum. Some prefer these drinks plain, while others prefer specialty drinks.
Extras to have on hand are: orange or cranberry juice, coke and diet coke and margarita mix. These ingredients should provide enough choices to make almost anyone happy. And don't forget the ice!

I think I'd definitely have on hand Rum and Coke, Vodka and OJ (screwdriver), vodka and cranberry (cape cod), tequila and margarita mix (margaritas), tequila, OJ, and grenadine (tequila sunrise), and many people like Crown and coke, and Seagrams 7 or any canadian liquor (Canadian Club, Canadian Mist, etc) and 7up.

I would have to say, my favorite drinks include, rum, tequila, and vodka-which you can make daquiries, bacardi and cokes, tequila sunrise, margaritas, bloody mary, vodka tonic, etc. There are some great sites online showing what indredients are in what kind of drinks.

I don't know what is really popular where you are at. But I like fruit Margaritas, Pina Coladas, Kahlua, Island Ice Teas, and Mud slides.

universal issues I drink on a nighttime out are Cubans - coke, rum and lime juice Vodka and cranberry juice Malibu and lemonade an extremely English drink is Pimms. extremely it incredibly is alcohol with lemonade and you upload mint, ice, cucumber etc...
