If it's uninsured who do you think your going to be able to file a claim with? Uninsured is uninsured you are out of luck. Why would you be able to claim something you never insured or paid a premuim for?

On rare occasion you can claim it on your homeowners policy but usually if it's not included you can't claim it. Contact your agent you might get lucky if it's highly expensive you will probably not get anything near it's worth. Most companies will not cover it without a seperate rider on the policy. But doesn't hurt to ask.

No, who would give you money back for it?

If it's not insured, the insurance company doesn't pay for "oops I lost it".

You could check with your credit card company, if you bought it on a credit card. Some of the major players *might* give you limited coverage for it. That's your only hope!
