I have a pug dog and for the past 2 days his tail is only curly sometimes but most of the time it's straight like a regular tail. Why?

Well, we've had him for over a year. He always has a curly tail except the past 2 days.

Some pugs do not have curly tails. It is a genetic passing that is either strong or not. My friends pugs have different types of tails, some having hardly any curl, some a lot.

Your pug may have also broken his tail, do you think this may have happened?

Here is some information I found to back my theory:

*We've observed over the years that no two pug tails are alike. Every tail is rare, singular, and unprecedented. Every tail takes its own turn. Every tail takes on it's own idiosyncratic qualities. Some pug tails are loosely curled. Others are tight enough to hold a pencil. Some loop two to three times while others barely once.
