Like Chris Miss said, it does have raw eggs, so only if the eggs have it. But that's mainly when you make it yourself, as I think that when the dough is made by a factory, there's less chance of it.

If the cookie dough was made with eggs & the dough is raw it's a bad idea to eat it. Yes, it could have all kinds of
nasty stuff in it that could make you sick.

Yes, because it has raw eggs in it. Eggs uncooked may have salmonella in it. That is why kids, or even adults should not eat raw cookie dough. Even eating under cooked eggs is a danger for kids. That is what I learned about children from a doctor.

If cookie dough was poisonous, I'd be dead. I ate about a quarter of raw cookie dough batch and all I got was a stomach ache. But I wouldn't advise it...unless you want a stomach ache. Small protions should be fine.

Yes, and spinach can have e-coli, and on and on. Theoretically the eggs could have salmonella, but like all the others here I've been eating it for years with no adverse effects.
You probably have a better chance getting sick from a restaurant just because of the number of people who handle your food.

HOWEVER, come on! How many of us grew up eating raw cookie dough at our mother's skirt? Geez, if this was really something to worry about people would have been falling over dead from raw cookie dough for years. DEATH BY COOKIE DOUGH!!!! Read all about it!!!
