I just heard from Bro John. His account was closed. I read many of his answers-he did not violate the rules.
Does anyone know more?

people will do anything to get someone's account closed. it's not fair and it drives people away from answers. there is no recourse for the "violator" when he feels he has been wrongfully reported or deleted.

I agree with some of the answers posted above. I've also noticed that the answers the committee picks are very wayward and most of the times the answers are filled with racist, prejudice, and biased implementations that sickens me. Some times I feel a great urge to email them to stop picking disgusting answers but I let it slip because if you think about they're just just printed words that has no significance in anyone's life. I think some of the people on yahoo committee have biased and prejudice manner of thinking.

I've been getting a lot of violations lately too. Some people are complaining because they don't like the responses they get. If they can't accept a different opinion to their own they shouldn't be here

The only thing I know is they have a new system to weed out trolls, conversationalsits, strange answers and questions.

Yahoo has thier own adjenda. But I am told by others here they give you advance notice.

Ironic isn't it? That every time I report someone genuine their account takes 6 weeks to get closed and yet genuine people have theirs closed within a couple of days...
