same thing? Why do they consider others so terrible but themselves so self-righteous? Seems that Atheism is just another religion, a very smug one at that, and one full of those who do not realize they have a log of religion in their own eye while they try to get a speck of religion out of yours.

atheists are anti-God, so atheists are by default antagonistic to God and theo-centered religions or practice. people in general are hypocritical, and atheists are no different. it seems you have an accurate perspective on atheists. atheism is just another religion but the important thing is, where do you stand? there is no middle ground.

Atheism is not a religion. Frankly, I see a lot of self-righteousness in some religious people and some atheists. Not all theists and atheists are self-righteous. Have a great evening!

I completly agree with you, and for those who say that it is Christians on the attack, how many years have Christians been persecuted for their beliefs. And to not believe in anything might not be a religion but it is a way of thinking, and many atheists do try and convince Believers that there is no God and they're wasting their time, I have been told that many times by people i thought were my friends

I think the point of this question was to show that atheists wind up being guilty of the same thing they accuse fundamentalist Christians of. The point is, in trying to expose the self-righteousness in many Christians they end up coming across as self-righteous themselves.

Atheists r just influence by what society brainwashed to believe in. Like the government took away religion in schools, and the word Christ in Christmas, and much more. We're just a lost society. Now look at what America has become an over weight society with filth on TV, and gun violent at our public schools.

Atheism is not a religion because they have no god.

I think that atheists get annoyed at the stupid arguements expounded by christians and the typical christian inablity and unwillingness to accept logic

I agree completely, for many, but not all atheists. Seems Atheists have their own branch of "fundies"

I see atheist defending themselves and others. It is the fundamentalists that are attacking. Many religious people are accepting and tolerant.

For one Atheist use logic and science to support their claims whiles religions use "faith" and an old book.

Atheist don't force their "religion" down to people they try to educated because evolution, cosmology and other sciences is well science.
