how much money do i have to make in a year to file taxes, i had a job for two months and i earned 630 that was my Year to date gross income.

You are not required to file a return and if you do file it you will get a refund of any tax withheld.

You can file to get back the Federal Income Tax withheld. If none was withheld I wouldn't worry about filing.

If you're a dependent of someone else, like your parents for example, then yes you have to file, but aren't likely to owe any taxes. If anything was withheld for federal income tax, you should get it all back.

If you're not a dependent, you don't have to file, but if anything was deducted for federal withholding, you should file so you'll get that money refunded to you.

Please note that money deducted for FICA will NOT be refunded.
