Good question, i am first of all going to say that since God created the world, and knows the beginning to end, i wouldn't imagine that he would make the world if in the end it would be turned over to Lucifer. Now, would I worship Lucifer instead, I don't think so, because I don't believe that Lucifer would be the same as God is, he isn't loving and forgiving and the savior, he is the damned and condemmed and lustful things are ok. I can't say for sure, but i would imagine that since there is also Satanism, there would be the other side if Lucifer had won.

Not a chance !! Lucifer was a perfect Angel as the story goes and it is different according to belief ! GOD THE FATHER not the SON (Jesus) is neither man nor woman. Same goes for Angels ! They are neither Male or Female, genderless ! The imagines "we" have been brain washed into believing are by artists who painted them hundreds of years ago ! The devil was an Angel cast out of the heavens and we've been lead to believe for centuries he is the king of the "HELL" !! God gave man the choice to worship whom ever he wants too. Christians from way back were the cruelest and killing of man! Either believe or die ! Heaven or Hell, worship whoever "YOU" choose, but Lucifer can never be as GREAT as The creator GOD !! I read that version also, Prophecies and of course Nostradamus's Predictions.
This a very arguable question so I leave it to PERSONAL CHOICE ! I DON'T BELIEVE EITHER ONE EVEN EXISTS !!

The way a lot of Christians and Muslims behave, we might as well be worshipping Lucifer.
For all we know, Lucifer did win - but remember that the winners are the ones who write the history books, and Auld Hornie may have decided to go ahead and twist things a bit--

The way I see it is that IF Lucifer had defeated God, then Lucifer would now BE God, and anyone who didn't acknowledge His new status would be toast. How would mortal beings oppose God and get away with it?

Impossible. The creature cannot defeat the Creator, all he can do is disobey. Some people do/did worship Lucifer and his two cohorts, Satan and Caligastia.

IF lucifer won, I'll still not worship him. I worship not based on truimph or tragedy, but based on truth, power and righteousness. If he didn't have any of those special qualities I finds it no need to worship him, because without truth, power and righteousness there's no freedom so why would I worship a being who carries no essence of truth or freedom for those who worship him?

There is always a purpose to hypothetical questions.
I think that you are having thoughts put in your mind to doubt the sovereignty of the Almighty.
Those of us who are believers would never even think of your statement. Here is another if-then statement for you to think about.
If you knew God and had a personal relationship with Him, then you would not be burdened with such thoughts.

Lucifer was created by God - he could never have won. But, for the sake of argument, no, I will never, would never, follow Lucifer - he is evil.

NOPE! We wouldn't even be here reading this idiocy. That is of course considering that the "if" in your question is a hypothetical question that was not possible in reality. Is that about as clear as mud or what?
