I've donated before and always got lousy service, they don't call back, or they don't pick up the car, or say, your car is too old, we don't want it. Even though the car was worth $2000

do you know of an organization that provides good service.

Donate it to a highschool auto shop. They can do maintenance on it at school, sell tickets and raffle it off. In this way, they make money for the school and some highschool kid gets a good deal on a much needed car - one they will truly appreciate. It's the best way to go! (My husband is a teacher at a highschool and told me about this - the kids that win the cars are always so happy!)
