Not me. I was never comfortable when my parents took me to church and Sunday school.
I figured out that I didn't have a religion before I even knew there was a word for it. I had a little difficult time with the fact that I thought everyone I knew was delusional, but that was the only uncomfortable part. I was very grateful when I read Cosmos (Carl Sagan) and realized that I wasn't alone and that there was a rational argument for it.

unfortunately in this society yes. For me I can care less I was raised as a devote roman catholic. The second I stepped away from the church I was looked down upon. I'm speaking mostly from a christian stand point but this is true in most religions esp. Judaism, and Islam. They think because you aren't religious it means you are looked down upon in the eyes of your creator or whatever. I turned away when I realized that the bible was a contradiction which isn't surprising seeing how so many devote religious people tend to be hypocrites. Not to offend the people who are religious but just saying they are the ones who say turn the other cheek and all sin is equal in god's eyes yet they are the first to force their opinions on people who are involved in lifestyles they deem unacceptable. Of course this isn't true of every relgious person but a lot of them do.

I have some trouble with the word "religious." If it means to attend the services offered at a church, shrine, temple or other place of worship, I am not religious. If it means believing in a god or being desirous of knowing what there is outside of this life, then I am religious. No, not going to a church does not make me uncomfortable. Not being curious or wanting to understand does.

I bet in the very least it makes you wonder what all the fuss is about. You don't have to go to church to find out, just read the bible if your curious.

Religion weaves a story around the truth.
If you like that, it's fine. Truth is just harder to uncover in a story.

It doesn't make me uncomfortable just sad that you haven't got to come to no God.
I am sorry if I have in some way offended some of you by saying it makes me sad. But I would be lying if I said other wise.
Sorry

It probably should be a bigger issue than what it is. Possessing in your heart the creator of the universe is something you should not want to miss.
