Ok..I asked this question earlier and it was misconstrued. I am not asking how you knew you loved the person you are with because I want to use that to gauge my feelings....I just want to hear other peoples stories.
How long were you together before you realized you loved the person you are with? What made you fall in love with that person?

Hm. I think it was love at first sight. However, we're not dating at this point. I fell in love with the person first by his looks and personality. I'm drawn to the fact he likes to help other people, is very intelligent, witty, a complete silly dork, very hard headed, most of the time thinks he's right, kind of selfish. All of the things, both good and bad, I love about him. I think love grows and develops over time. And honestly, I know everyone says "you'll know when you know" I think you will know. Sure, you might still feel a bit uneasy or a bit unsure, but still you'll know.

Falling in love and love are two different feelings. Falling in love, is when you can't stand to be apart for a minute and dream about being with them when your not. Falling in love can also mean great sex all the time. Love is when you want to share a life together and making plans for the future. This could mean not just having sex, going out with each others friends, meeting their family. It is more than just sex.
I first fell in love when I look into his eyes for the first time. I knew I loved him when I realised we shared mutual dreams. I don't know if people fall in love at the same rate, but I think it took a few months. When I fell out of love was when he wanted to take control over our dreams and what I did with my life.

I was with him for about a month (we have been together now for two years) when I realized something was very different. I loved and still love everything about him.

It was about the 2nd or 3rd week we hooked up/ What made me fall in love with him was that I have never felt the way about a man be4 like i do him and he tells me good things that make me blush and smile.

2 weeks!!!! I fell in love with everything about him and came to realize that he's my soulmate and life without him would be--well a blank!! It's just meant to be--we both know it--we are madly in love to this day!! You just know--it's just there--it's like nothing you have ever felt or ever had before in your life!!

i knew because i got butterflies in my stomach when i thought about him.
i loved him wehn we were friends, and when we started dating, i loved him for his personality and laugh and how he was always making me smile.
